Psycheteria was created by Dr. John Brooks, who is an Associate Professor in Residence at the Semel Institute at UCLA and the Director of Consultation & Liaison Psychiatry at Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital at UCLA.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Brooks major research focus is bipolar disorder, with special emphasis on older adults and neuroimaging. A major focus of his laboratory is to elaborate on the underlying neural substrates of bipolar disorder.
